What is casework? If you are experiencing a problem with a federal agency, my office may be able to assist you in resovling your problem. A federal agency is part
of the President's Cabinet such as the Department of Agriculture
or an independent agency such as the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission. If you are unsure whether your problem involves a federal
agency, visit the White
House web page for more information. However, if your problem is a judicial or court matter, I cannot assist you as this does not fall under my jurisdiction as a U.S. Senator. For example, I cannot assist you with matters involving child custody, divorce or criminal trials or imprisonment. Problems with
Colorado State Agencies are also not under my jurisdiction as a U.S.
Senator. For example, I cannot assist you with matters involving child
support, welfare or state taxes. For these matters you should contact
Governor Bill Owens at: Governor Bill
